Step by step
Your European motorcycle tour starts with choosing a tour and a motorcycle.
Next, you have to choose a date. To help you with this, we have added seasonal weather info in the tour descriptions.
If you have any questions, about anything at all, just drop us a line, either with the contact form or by sending an email or by the old-fashioned way, the telephone. All contact info is listed at the bottom of each page.
When you are sure of your decision, you fill in the booking form by pressing the button "book now" in the tour description.
We will send you a booking confirmation with all the information you need.
To finalize your booking you have to make a 10% downpayment. This can be done by bank-transfer, credit-card or even a Western-Union money transfer.

Naturally, we will confirm your tour-booking and at this point you will also receive a digital version of your "road book". You will receive the printed version on arrival in Spain.
After your tour-booking is finalized you can book your flight to Europe.
All our tours start in Madrid, Spain and there are daily direct flights from several USA airports (LAX, JFK, and others).
As soon as you have your flight information, please send us the arrival date, arrival time and flight number so we can arrange the airport pick-up.
You also should arrange a travel-insurance with so called "adrenaline coverage" (this covers mountaineering, parachute jumping and... motorcycle riding). If you have trouble finding one, check out Squaremouth.com or World Nomads.com.
Eight weeks before the start-date of your tour, you will have to pay the remaining balance.
When you arrive here, in Madrid, Spain, we will be there to pick you up and take you to your hotel. This first day is to relax and acclimatize a bit in these new surroundings.
The next day, day 2 of the tour, you will receive your motorcycle so you can "prepare" it, pack your travel bags, go for a spin around the block, and get ready for the adventure that starts the next day.
In the afternoon we will have a briefing in which we explain everything you need to know about the route, the hotels, the sights, etc. We'll give you the "road book" and the satnav (GPS navigation device) and explain how it works.
Now you are well prepared.
From here on, it depends on the type of tour you have booked.
Self-guided tour
You will have received a satnav (GPS navigation) that has all the daily routes in it. In the morning you select the route for that day and follow the navigation instructions on the screen.
This will lead you, on the most scenic route, to the next hotel.
Excursions on the route are marked, and even the last fuel-station before you reach the hotel is marked.
Depending on your choice, the hotels are booked and paid for, or you did that yourself. Restaurants and entrance tickets to sights and attractions on the route are not included. You can choose yourself which to go to, and which to skip.
This way, you are as free as a bird and if you wish to deviate from your route, you can do so as you please, but you always have a good place to spend the night.
Guided tour
The guided tour is basically the same as the self-guided tour, except that you have a guide on a motorcycle with you and the hotels are included in the tour-price.
If you wish, the guide can take the lead. He knows all the best places as he has been here a few times before, but he only makes suggestions. You still call the shots.
Group tour
In a group tour, the guide takes the lead. Of course, you will have your own satnav so you don't have to follow the guide every second of the day. Usually the group meets up at designated coffee and lunch stops. And, of course, at the scenic stops and attractions. Restaurants, drinks, snacks and entrance-fees are not included so you still get to decide for yourself what to do and what to eat and drink.
At the end of all tours we meet again at your hotel on the last day.
Sadly it is time for you to return your motorcycle and pack your bags for the flight back home the next day.
